HIGH FIVES FOR HIGH VIBES


Hiya!

Over the past year I have slowly made changes to my life. And my life has been drastically changing for the better.

Like, whoa better!

Am I saying that because I chose to live this way, you should too? No. But I do know that it has worked wonders for me... and I want you to feel awesome too!

Am I saying I am perfect and never screw up? No. In fact, on my resent trip to Portland I ate pizza, drank wine and tequila, got super drunk and had to skip an awesome hike, and then hated life the next day.

Eh, it happens.

But 80% of the time, I chose the High Vibrational (Vibe) Life.

So, what is it?

It is living more in the present and in your heart center. Not living in the future or in the past because that takes away the energy you have for right now.

Doing more of what makes you happy and less of what makes you stressed.

Valuing yourself more and understanding your emotions rather than pushing them off for something that will immediately make you feel better (which you are just covering up the emotions and soon they will come roaring out).

Eating clean foods that make your energy rise and not pull you down. Think fresh, clean and healing foods.

Drinking a ton of water that has ingredients in it that creates a medicinal effect (ginger, lemon, raw honey, cinnamon) to reduce inflammation in your body.

Exercising. Alternating from a low intensity workout, to a high one, to taking a rest day. Get the blood flowing, endorphins heightened and lungs expanded.

Taking the time to step out into nature and connect with the earth. Nature is ridiculously good for your soul and helps balance out your thoughts, believe it or not.

Going within and meditating. Sitting in your silence brings you truths that you never thought would be or that you could ever imagine.

Learning to live in your authentic self and not giving a rats-you-know-what of what others think of you. Because you are one hell of a good human when you are being 100% raw and real, 100% of the time.... to me that is super rad.

Understanding the energy in your body. This is one thing that I have been working on for a while now. Recently I had a healer say to me that I respect my physical body and it is clean, however my energetic body looks like I feed it McDonalds everyday. WHAT?! I was so upset because I have been trying to work on myself, especially in that department. His reasoning was that I give too much to others and leave very little for myself. Buh, I could understand that.
