Peaking your head around the corner to see what you have not been paying attention to in your life is a fun way to acknowledge what you want to become interested in next. I have recently been intrigued by my hormones, how to make passive income, and universal energy. It has made my down time quite fascinating!

Connect through creativity.

My husband and I will do the silliest things with art, but it turns out to be the most fun and memorable times. For instance, one Saturday we laid out a huge canvas on the ground and took turns painting on it with just our feet. It allowed us to let loose and not have expectations about the end result. It was rather freeing and we loved the outcome! I have to mention, we really set the mood by being outside on the grass in bare feet on a sunny day with happy music on and spiked lemonade for refreshments.

Become more accountable.

Coming out of the winter months, I always get a surge for newness. I want to make a difference, become healthier and feel refreshed again. One way I have done that is gathered up two of my favorite people and started an accountability group. My sister, husband, and I meet every Sunday afternoon and talk about our goals. We each have twenty minutes to talk and then the other two offer suggestions as to how we can view our position differently, and offer homework to do for the next week to help them get to their goals. I highly recommend an accountability group. We have been crushing our goals and having many “aha” moments!

Play and laugh more with those you love.

I mean doesn’t that just sound delightful?! Check your tribe. Make sure you are surrounding yourself with those that push you to want to become better, but also make you smile, belly laugh and have feel good emotions on the daily.

Experiment with foods.

First I make a list of foods that make me think, “Spring!” and then I find fun and refreshing recipes that incorporate those ingredients. Think lemon, coconut, ricotta cheese, artichokes, asparagus, quiche, and strawberries! Invite your tribe over to indulge in the deliciousness of Spring!

Become adventurous with your exercise.

I don’t know about you, but I become sick of working out inside once winter is breaking. I like to challenge my endurance with different places to hike, trails to run, paths to bike, streams to cross and trees to climb. I will head out almost daily to a new little piece of nature heaven and get my heart rate up!

Spring clean your environment.

Dust your room, open those window, let the fresh air in, lite some fresh floral candles and bask in the warm sun coming into your home. It will feel and smell so rejuvenating!
